Each team of cowboys rotates around to the different outlaws. I put each question set on a different table. It is up to the cowboys to solve all the problems at the table created by the outlaw. If the team correctly solves all the problems before the 10 minutes (or whichever time you allot) is up and checks their answers – they become sheriffs! I told my class that in order to keep their sheriff status, when they rotate they must run the next outlaw out of town, too! I used manila envelopes as the “Wanted” file and put the answer keys for each outlaw set into the manila envelope. The students used booklets to answer the question sets for each outlaw.
This rodeo style review sure was fun! I got cowboy hats from the dollar tree, put paisley patterned fabric down on the tables and we had ourselves a rodeo!
