In this activity, students will apply what they have learned about the Executive Office and create their own puzzle. The content of the puzzle will help students review what they have learned about the qualifications to become president and the 7 different roles that the president plays while in office.
This activity is fun and highly engaging. I usually have the students turn the puzzle in unassembled. I pass out card stock and randomly pass out the puzzles so that they do not end up with their creator. Then the students put their classmates' puzzles together. It's really great to see what your students can create!
I usually give this activity the same day that I introduce the 7 roles of the president and allow them to begin working on it that day in class.
Included in this purchase is the activity instructions, grading rubric, and a student example from my class! Enjoy!
