Roll-A-Category is a fun way to practice categorization skills. The cards contain 48 different categories. Students roll a die to determine the number of items in each category they need to give. If a one is rolled, then the student gives one category item. If a two is rolled, then the student gives two category items and so on.

Roll-A-Category is a great classroom game for individuals, small groups, and large groups. Students can take turns drawing cards and rolling die. Answers can be stated aloud or written down. Students can work individually or in groups. Great as a quick activity for the end of the day.
I store cards in clear sandwich bags with a resealable top. Label the bag and you are ready to go.
