Students roll a dice to see which body part to add to their monster. Their monster can end up with 5 noses, 3 horns, 7 legs, no mouth and 6 arms! I tell my students to stop when they get a monster that they like. After they are done, they count and record their monster's body parts on the graph. They then share with a friend how many of each body part they have. I also have them compare the body parts. For example, they might say, "My monster has more legs than arms." or 'My monster has 7 eyes and 4 mouths. Seven is more than four." Great activity to wind up the Halloween week!!
