I used this activity during Kindergarten Intervention center time. Use for color sight word practice, rote counting to 10, number recognition, and basic addition.
Students roll a die and then find the corresponding color and fill in one box at a time. For example, if the student rolls a 6, they look at the top row of numbers and follow the 6 down to see what color the column should be. The 6 column should be colored purple, so the child colors one box purple and rolls again.
This can be used as a partner or group game to see who gets one color all the way to the top first.
