Students will roll a die 5 times to collect these different parts of a sentence: Adjective, Noun, Verb, Adverb, Preposition (Prepositional Phrase). They then write the parts in order to create their sentence. The rolled sentence can also be used as a topic sentence to create a longer story.
Each of the 3 pages offer many possible combinations, some sillier than others. A writing sheet is also included, although my students usually use lined story paper so that they can also illustrate the sentences.
This works well for Daily 5 Work on Writing.
