This product is an engaging dice game to help students identify two-dimensional shapes. Shapes used include: square, circle, triangle, oval, rectangle and rhombus (diamond).
This is a great game for small groups or Math Centers. It's even a great game for indoor recess or Free Choice Time. To play, a player rolls the dice, says the shape rolled, and crosses off that shape on his game sheet.
Teachers can easily make it a bit more difficult by having students identify shape attributes when the dice lands on a given shape. For example, The player rolls a square and says,"I landed on a square. Squares have four equal sides and all sides are parallel to each other."
Teachers will find this game a fun and engaging way to solidify shape learning.
