This Roll-A-Story-Problem activity is a creative center to get students to write their own story problems. Students roll a die three times to get the character, setting and object they must use in their own word problem. Writing story problems is a great way to get kids better at solving them and identifying key operations. These are made to be used with multiplication, but can be used with any operation.
Pack includes Teacher Directions, Student Directions, 5 Roll-A-Story Cards with different themes (summer, school, sports, winter, fairy-tale) and a recording sheet.
