Roll & Cover Winter is a very versatile game board.
This board is great because it can be used with any activity; articulation, language, fluency, voice.
You will need:
1 roll and cover board for each student in the group
1 pair of dice (I use two different colored dice – but you don’t have to use colored dice)
Enough bingo type tokens for each student to cover the gingerbread boys/girls / penguins / snowmen
Articulation, language, or fluency cards or tasks of your choice.
The gingerbread houses / igloos / snowflakes are free spaces. We love free products and our students love FREE spaces.
Choose a student to begin the game. The student says his articulation word, phrase, sentence, etc., or performs whatever language or fluency task you assign. Upon completion of the task the student rolls one die which will tell the black number column, then he/she rolls the remaining die which tells them the blue number row. (I actually use a white die and a blue die to decrease confusion – and the students love the colored dice). The student finds the gingerbread boy/girl / penguin / snowman that is in the column and row designated by the dice and covers that gingerbread boy/girl / penguin / snowman. Each student takes turns until someone covers every gingerbread boy/girl / penguin / snowman in a row or a column. The first to complete a row or column is the winner.
