Perfect small group learning activity! Great for centers!
This fun game will help your students learn to recognize and read number words. Remembering how to spell number words can be tricky and students will benefit from repeated practice. And there's no better way to practice than by playing an exciting game! This is a great game for all year long.
Roll, Say, Keep can be played by 1-6 players.
Players take turns rolling the dice and reading the card on the appropriate space. For example, if they roll a five, they read the card on the space with the number five dice. If the player can read the card, he keeps it and replaces the card with another from the pile. If he cannot read it, he puts the card back in the pile, after getting help from his friends. Play continues until all of the cards have been used. The winner is the player with the most cards at the end of the game.
I have included some optional message cards to make the game even more exciting, and two different recording sheets.
