Directions for use:
Copy on card stock and laminate for durability.
Introduce game in small groups and then move to independent math center.
Depending on the strategy you are teaching, you can have the students use the ten frame to use with manipulatives or use the number line to help solve the number equations.
Directions for game:
Give each student a game mat. Place the cards in the middle for all players to reach. Students need to draw six cards to place on their mat.
Take turns rolling a die and solving the equation. If answered correctly, place the card in individual pile and draw from the middle pile and place new card on mat. Pass the die to the next player and continue game.
Game ends when a player clears their board and all the cards are gone from the middle pile. I allow the other students to answer their remaining cards and if answered correctly they can put them in their individual pile.
Students can count their cards to see who has the most.
Thank you for your purchase! I hope your students enjoy playing this game while practicing their subtraction skills.
