This is a perfect game to practice comparing numbers! All you need are the recording sheets, pencils, and some dice. Depending on what grade level you are using this for, give students the number of dice appropriate for their level. (2 dice-tens place, 4 dice-thousands place, etc.). This also helps with differentiating the game. Students will roll their dice and create the biggest number that they can. This ties in ordering numbers as well. Students will love earning points for rolling the highest number and competing to win the game. I hope you enjoy this game as much as my students did! Also, a trick that I learned is to either laminate the recording sheet or place them in a page protector so they can use them with dry erase markers. That way they can be used as a center activity at any time during the year.
