This game addresses CCSS 4.NF.A.2- Comparing fractions with different numerators and denominators.
Students roll the dice to create a fraction, represent the fraction using visual models, and compare their fraction with a partner!
By using the visual fraction models, students will begin to conceptually understand the various sizes of fractions in comparison with other fractions. This game gets students comparing the SIZE of each fraction piece (denominator) and the NUMBER of fractional pieces (numerator).
