Great game for a Thanksgiving math center, students familiarize themselves with dot cards (dice) and relating it to the number.
Print, laminate, and cut out 2 copies of pages 2-4, so students can play as a partner game. Have students take turns rolling the dice. For a 1, students will add the turkey’s head, for a 2, students will add the beak, for a 3 the body, for a 4 the leg, for a 5 add a feather, and for a 6 add the wattle. Students will need all of the turkey’s body parts (5 feathers, 2 legs, 1 body, 1 head, 1 beak, and 1 wattle) in order to win the game. The first student to assemble his/her turkey wins the game.
