Are you looking for a center or station for your students to use that will help them practice their short o CVC words? Here it is! Students roll two dice (one with a consonant and one with a 2 letter ending), read the word, and decide if it is a real word or a nonsense word. They then write the word in the correct column on their recording sheet.
In this center, students will receive:
Practice with nonsense words (great for Dibels)
Practice reading short o CVC words
Practice writing CVC words
2 sets of dice are included. They both have the same letters on them, but one can be printed in color and the other in black.
Three different types of recording sheets are available. One has no lines, one has plain lines, and the third has handwriting lines.
