Here is a simple, no prep, word work activity; all you need to provide is the dice. It's great to use with spelling words, sight words, daily living words, the choice is yours! This activity makes a great spelling center and can be done in small groups or individually. The file includes 2 versions, one where students roll the dice 10 times (shorter amount of time) and one where students roll the dice 20 times.
Directions: Write your words (spelling, sight words, etc.) in the bold boxes at the bottom of the page. Then roll a dice. The number you roll determines which word you write. If you roll a 1, write your first word in box directly above the bolded boxes. Then make a tally mark in the rectangle at the top beside "Roll the Dice 10 Times." Keep rolling, writing, and tallying each roll until you've either 10 or 20 rolls.
Note: The directions might sound confusing, but once kids catch on they don't need it explained again. Also, if you have more than 6 words, consider printing the activity on both the front and back of a page and having the students complete it twice, thus giving you 12 words to practice.
