Have your students practice identifying, reading, and writing the Spanish "silabas" while thinking that they are playing a game. These activities compliment McGraw Hill Tesoros letter sequence for the year. There are 28 pages, two of which are dice templates examples while the rest are letters with silabas. Have the students roll a die and identify the assigned "silaba" or corresponding letter. Then they trace the identified "silaba" or corresponding letter while practicing their penmanship while reading Spanish Silabas. To make it more fun, have students pick out a color (crayon, marker, dauber, or colored pencil) for each number on the die. It may be used as an independent literacy center or early finisher activity. Use it to correlate with McCraw Hill Tesoros letter of the week sequence. You can purchase the dice at any teacher store, dollar tree, or make your own because a pattern for the dice is included.
