Building an understanding of multiplication.
Teaching students to build arrays is a great opener for your multiplication lessons. This activity is most fun when played with a partner.
-Choose one partner to roll first.. This digit is your "rows"
-The other partner will roll second.. This digit is the "columns"
-TSW then draw the array
-Lastly TSW write the equation that matches their array
