ROLL AND BUILD A SNOWMAN
Duplicate the game boards and snowman pieces on card stock. Cut out the game board sheets and glue them inside a colored file folder. (Another option is to glue the pieces on a 12X18 sheet of construction paper.) Laminate the file folder and the snowman pieces. Cut out the snowman pieces and put them in a sealable baggie. I usually make enough copies so 6 children can play at a time. Each baggie should contain:
1 head ball
2 balls--medium and large
2 arms and 2 sticks
1 pair boots
This game can be played at a center or individually by a child. Each child gets a snowflake game board/file folder, a baggie and a dot cube. Children take turns rolling their dot cube, one roll per turn. With each roll, the child picks a snowman part that matches the pictures on the dot cube key at the top of the game board. If a number that has already been rolled is rolled again before the snowman is built, that person's turn is over and the next child takes a turn. The game is over when the first child completes his/her snowman.
