This packet of games was designed with math fluency in mind. It is important for young learners to begin mentally adding and subtracting tens and ones. These games are an effective and fun way for kids to practice adding and subtracting 10 and adding and subtracting 1. The goal is to have your students mentally computing, but a number chart (1-120) is included for differenciation.
Roll and Color Box Out games are sure to be a hit in your classroom! All you need is a partner, dice, and 2 different colored crayons. Students can practice math in a fun and collaborative way. The directions are printed on every game board so there is no confusion. It is an easy activity to leave with a sub. Games are also great in RTI or center groups.
Each player needs a crayon. No 2 colors can be alike. Players share one die and game board. Each player takes a turn rolling the die and then coloring the answer. The player with the most colored boxes wins!
