What to do…
Select a game mat and print it out. I like to print mine on cardstock and then laminate. Although they work just fine without being laminated. When you print select “FIT” so it fits on the page. If you don’t, the side borders will be cut off.
Each mat will need two dice and 22 markers (11 markers for each player). You can use cubes, two-color discs, or my favorite…seasonal mini erasers! I usually find mine in the Target $ section.
Put a game mat between two players.
Each player puts one marker in each box.
Player 1 rolls two dice and figures out the sum and then removes the marker from the corresponding box.
Then player 2 rolls and removes the sum.
If a player rolls a sum that has already been removed it is the next players turn.
The winner is the first player to remove all their markers!
I have different game boards just to make it fun and change it up during the year. The great thing is once you teach this game, you are set for the year with any of the “Roll and Remove” mats. I use this during math and also as a morning tub.
Included are 11 colored mats and 12 black and white mats.
