PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

If you liked Roll and Say Syllables, you will love Roll and Say CVC's!

About Roll and Say CVC's:
Use these black and white worksheets to teach simple CVC sound patterns to children with a variety of speech sound production difficulties, such as apraxia of speech and use of some phonological processes (ex. stopping, backing, initial and final consonant deletion, pre-vocalic voicing, etc.).

The initial sound targets included, /h, w, p, b, m, n, k, t/ are paired with as many neutral vowels as possible (along with many other vowels) and the /t/ in the final position. A sampling of words in this pack includes words such as “hat”, “wet”, “boat”, “pit”, “might”, “nut”, “toot”, and “kite”. Since all worksheets are in black and white they are easy to print and reproduce for both therapy and homework.

Included in this pack are:
*worksheets to teach simple CVC words which includes /h, w, p, b, m, n, k, t/ in the initial position and /t/ in the final position of all words.
*Roll & Say CVC game boards for students to practice words in a fun and reinforcing manner.

Directions for Using Roll and Say CVC's:
These worksheets and game boards can be simply printed and used immediately or laminated for greater durability. If simply printed out, use paint daubers, stickers, or markers to fill in the circles and/or boxes. If you laminate these activities, you may cover the circles/boxes with bingo chips.

*Choose the target sound for your student, and print those corresponding worksheets (laminate if not using paint daubers). Each worksheet is organized by initial sound.

*Start with CVC words (pages 3-10). Use these pages to teach sounds at the word level. When the student produces “x” number of words, they fill in a circle (see suggestions above). Continue until all circles are full, & send home for reinforcement/homework.

*Use the Roll and Say CVC game boards on pages 11-18 to reinforce the words you have taught using the worksheets. Each worksheet has a corresponding game board. Print the game board(s) you need, grab 2 die, and roll away! Student rolls 2 die to determine which sound he/she will say, then covers the word with a bingo chip or paint dot.

*Page 19 includes a sampling of words from all of the worksheets. This sheet will provide a fun challenge for your students as they become proficient in using all of the initial sounds provided!
