Here is a fun math center activity for the Halloween/fall season, ideal after reading the favorite book "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything." Students use a spinner or roll a dice to build a scarecrow. Included are color/image and black and white/text versions of the spinner and the dice page. Use large images for a poster-sized scarecrow (good for groups to use) or small images for individual scarecrows that fit on a piece of 8 1/2x11 paper.
Fabulous scarecrow graphics used were created by http://melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/.
