This math center can be used to help students practice their addition and subtraction facts through the use of number bonds.
The first page of this resource is a game in which students roll two dice. They write the two numbers in the two parts of the number bond. They add the two numbers to find the total.
The next 5 pages of this resource are activity sheets that help students practice their 10-, 9-, 8-, 7-, and 6- facts. Students are given a total in the number bond (10, 9, 8, 7, or 6). Students need to roll a die and put that number in one of the parts of the number bond. Students may use subtraction (ex. 10-4=__) or addition (ex. 4+__=10) to determine the unknown part. This allows them to choose between using strategies such as counting on or counting back.
