This activity encourages those early readers to recognize words from the same word family. Students will work in pairs, roll a die, and read the column of sight words that are under the number rolled. The partner will listen, observe, and correct if needed. This activity consists of most word family groups. It is easy to differentiate this activity between students because of the variety of groups included.
