Use this template to have students gather information about a Roman Emperor and "publish" it in a creative way. The baseball card requires students to tell an emperor's years of reign, accomplishments, "hobbies," and titles. When students finish adding information, they simply fold the paper in half and glue together, and a baseball card has been created! When my students finish this assignment I create a bulletin board called the "Roman Emperor Hall of Fame and Shame." We officially induct select emperors into the hall of fame (based on their excellent accomplishments) and select emperors into the hall of shame (based on their wicked accomplishments). See my product called "Roman Emperor Hall of Fame Speeches" for a writing template that enables students to deliver more formal speeches inducting an emperor into a certain Hall.
