Product Description
What if Emerson and Thoreau had a chance to meet some of the most notable people in history who made a positive difference during the past few centuries? With this innovative activity, students will have an opportunity to showcase their thoughts and ingenuity as they provide evidence as to what they've learned about Romanticism. Using their imaginations, participants will create a narrative with dialogue and a theme in order to showcase the philosophies of this popular time period with a 19th, 20th, or 21st century personality. Students will utilize facts and critical-thinking skills to formulate their project. This is the perfect wrap-up activity for teachers who hope that students will enjoy an assignment as they review material. A detailed rubric is included.
