Art is...Romare Bearden's "Mountaintop" Collage that he created in 1968 to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.
You will receive two files. One is jpg and the other is pdf.
There are 4 pages.
1. Open Ended Drawing Page to create a reflection of Romare Bearden's collage in any medium (colored pencil, crayons, markers, ink). Students are to create their own interpretation in the blank space.
2. Create a "Mountaintop" themed collage. Your students can use the clip art on the 3rd and 4th pages or use magazine pictures, colored construction paper and their own drawings. A collage is a collection of small photos and drawings, often enhanced with paint, crayons, oil pastels and markers.
3. One Page Clip Art to be used in one student's collage. Mountaintop images, Blue Collages, MLK designs
