Before starting your study of Romeo and Juliet, start with a close reading lesson focusing on the Prologue! Here is a stations activity that creates a student-centered opportunity for students to focus in on five critical elements of the Prologue.

This product includes:

  1. A teacher lesson plan
  2. An editable student answer sheet
  3. A PDF of FIVE different station instructions

Here's the setup:

Place your five station signs around your classroom. Give each table a designated color highlighter. Then, divide your class into five groups, assign them a station where they will start, set the timer and let students start exploring the prologue for themselves!
