Romeo & Juliet - Chewbacca Soliloquy

Romeo & Juliet - Chewbacca Soliloquy
Product Description
This is the rare Chewbacca soliloquy from Act IV, Scene 6 of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet! Most editions of the play have this scene (and the entire character of Chewbacca) edited out, despite Shakepeare's original intention to include the wookie as a friend to the Capulet household. This is unfortunate because Chewbacca's soliloquy is a perfect representation of the Shakespearean sonnet and can be used to help students understand the sonnet form more easily when seen in the simplified context of Wookie language. It is great fun to have a volunteer student perform the soliloquy in class as it is projected on a screen.
