Looking for a flexible gateway to a variety of activities with Romeo and Juliet? This Flip Book Review opens doors for you. I first created a series of transparencies during my first year of teaching. Those transparencies have been recreated here for your use.
Each scene is recreated here with a stock set of stick figure characters. The drawings immediately open up conversations about the play among students. Possible offshoot activities include writing as well as cooperative learning opportunities. Students can debate about what might be missing in the graphic depiction of the summary of each scene. They might also be asked to try creating their own graphic summary. The possibilities are endless.
