This CCSS aligned worksheet asks students to reflect on Act III Scene i by creating a letter from Romeo's perspective. They then must predict what Juliet will do/say back. These letters are student creations, however, are deeply embedded in reading and understanding the text. There is convenient brainstorming space (I brainstorm as a class) and a rubric included on the second page of this worksheet.
Simple to use, great tool to gauge understanding, and an opportunity for students to exhibit creativity.
