PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Prior to reading William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," students will independently read and analyze statements related to the play's major themes and topics. They will circle whether they agree or disagree with each statement. After they have had time to look at these statements and think about them, come back as a whole class and discuss their reactions to these topics. An interesting twist would be to have them take sides of the room and turn it in to a debate (at least for the statements with the strongest responses).
