Want a super fun way to review Romeo and Juliet? The students enjoy this game so much that one student came in the classroom, saw the game set up, and said, "Please tell me that is for us!" Not only is this an excellent way to review the material, but the students get to engage with their peers in a productive way, and they have a lot of fun in the process! The four game categories include: Characters and Plot, Literary Terms, Vocabulary, and Action Cards. I have included some blank cards for you to add in additional cards. Just wait until they get to an Action Card that directs them to sing a song lyric, do a dance move, or perform a ten second scene from the play! Now, for the more timid students in the class, such cards give them the option of moving back three spaces instead. With a different set of cards, this game could easily be adapted to fit any literary work!
