This writing project is an assessment used in a Identity Unit with Romeo and Juliet as the anchor text. Students can complete this writing project after analyzing aspects of Romeo and Juliet’s lives that influence who they are as characters then use their findings to create an I.D. card that describes the aspects of Romeo and Juliet’s identity. The packet includes a checklist for students to use to complete both the front/back of the card. It also requires students to write a constructed response using the ACES strategy.
