Before reading the prologue, with a partner groups will be assigned a word or phrase to define it in their own terms and draw an image to help illustrate the line.
Next, using the images and definitions from the word association, students will translate the prologue into modern English.
After translated, they will answer comprehension questions that aid in understanding.
