Want to give a brief, but thorough exam for Romeo and Juliet? Here's your answer--a test that incorporates characters, analysis, matching, literary elements, writing, and chronology all in a neat, compact 38-question test!
I have also included a STUDENT answer sheet--just print a class set of the exam, and your answer sheets. Makes for easier grading!
Section I: Matching Characters to things they have said/done
Section II: Significant Quotations--Student write context, significance, and how the quote impacts characterization and plot movement.
Section III: Multiple choice on literary elements
Section IV: Order of events
Section V: Short response
I have provided a blank (students fill out) study guide that covers, generally speaking, what is on the test. The sections are in a different order. It is meant to prepare them, not give the test away!
There is an answer key for the test, but the short response questions are not answered--students may have multiple responses.
Thank you for looking!
