This timeline serves several purposes for students. While it helps students review the main events of each act, it also forces students to use higher-level thinking skills to arrange the events in chronological order.
An "events bank" is included. Furthermore, one event from each act is already on the timeline to help scaffold the task.
This particular timeline should be used after finishing acts four and five of the play. Technically, students could complete this activity after finishing the movie if a class is watching the movie version rather than reading all of the play.
