Romero Britto is a Brazilian neo-pop artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his work, using vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope and happiness.
Variations for this lesson:
~This collage lesson & project was created for kindergarten, but could also be used up to 2nd grade.
~I use 9"X12" construction paper, but a larger size would also work.
~The color of background paper can be up to the student or the teacher can choose 1 color. I give my students an option to choose their own color.
~The materials used for this project can be up to the teacher, or up to the students. Some choices could be oil pastel, newspaper, precut shapes, tissue paper, chalk, tape, fabric, color sticks, color pencil, crayon, marker, etc.
