This activity is a great way to practice writing a rhythmic composition in rondo form with a partner! Both students work together to create an "A" section, using any rhythms/time signatures as specified by the teacher. Then, one partner creates the "B" section individually and the other partner creates the "C" section. Students can use instruments or body percussion to practice their rondo piece, or just clap the rhythm.
This file has been customized in order to fit your student's needs. Worksheets are provided with the following options:
-1 measure, 2 measure and 4 measures of rhythm writing required (to cater to different age/ability levels)
-1 option with the letters for rondo form written in (ABACA) and one blank option that requires students to fill in the appropriate letters.
-An individual worksheet with think-about questions to help each student compose his/her unique "B" or "C" section.
