Over 60% of English words have sprouted from Greek or Latin roots. At least 90% of the science words in English have grown from Greek or Latin roots. Therefore, studying root words is a fantastic way to help students' vocabularies develop.
Your students will work on one root word each week, and also learn 24 related vocabulary words during the month.
