Each week I post a root word of the week. Students then brainstorm words that have that root and find them during silent reading. There are 112 root words including bases, prefixes and suffixes. I included an editable page so you can make any root word cards you may need that are not included. It also includes a graphic organizer for students to brainstorm words with the root word of the week. This is a great activity for a center or to do as a whole class!
