Miss-Aj starts with a light blue bulletin board paper for the background. Complete the edges with a cloud border at the top, white picket fence border on the bottom, and flower border at both sides. Use terra cotta colored construction paper and trace a flower pot using the included template. With a black Sharpie (R) write the root word largely and clearly on the pot. Staple it to the bulletin board. Next, tuck one end of green pipe cleaners behind the top edge of the flower pot. These are the stems for the bouquet of flowers. Then, using a black Sharpie (R) write each vocabulary word corresponding to the root word on its own flower cut out, which can be purchased at teacher supply stores. Arrange and staple the flower cut outs in a visually pleasing and easy to read manner on the end of the pipe cleaners. Don't cover up one word with the flower of another. Next, put up a title. Finally, embellish with butterflies, earthworms, bees, and a sun.
