An interactive PowerPoint that goes with a foldable
This foldable allows students to see how rotation, revolution and the Earth's tilt all are responsible for the seasons here on Earth. It goes through how to fold, cut and build it and is designed to be, at first, teacher led. You will show the students how you want the definition and key facts/ statements to look like and then allow them to independently answer the next 2 sections. It is a great student-led activity and requires students to use prior knowledge to fill in the foldable themselves. Have them use whiteboards and write what they think the definitions would be first, then as a class, come up with the definition. By the end of this lesson, students will not only have simple, great visuals to remind them of how seasons work but also allow them to collaborate with their peers.
