Writing and using Rotation Rules to rotate figures a coordinate plane. The notes page provides graphic examples of 90, 180, and 270 degree clockwise and counterclockwise rotations and a table where students can compare what happens to the x and y values for each ordered pair in each type of rotation, from which they then write the transformation rules. It also inludes a diagram to help the students visually remember these complicated rules. The practice page provides additional problems for students to complete on their own.
