These resources are part of a larger unit titled “Pirate’s Plunder”. If you enjoy them, you may want to check out the entire unit.
Included in this pack:
Instructional power points that can be divided over several days. Within the power point, you will find a game called “Walk the Plank” which is meant to be played whole class with teams. There are two versions of “Walk the Plank” included--one requiring rounding to the nearest ten and the other rounding to the nearest 100.
Setting Sail Task cards with recording sheet that can be used as a “scoot” game or around the room activity. I typically use the around the room approach. I put kiddos in groups of two and have them complete the cards. Then, we discuss the answers aloud as a class. I’ve included slides in the power point for you to do so.
Independent worksheets and exit tickets. You can use as homework or independent class work.
Early finisher or center activities. These included a roll, write and round plus many “clip and check” self-paced rounding cards. Instructions for preparation are included with pictures for assembly.
