I Have, Who Has and Pick a Card games are a fun way to practice skills in the classroom. They are great for review, test prep, fluency, listening skills, mental math, and rainy day recess!

To play the I Have, Who Has games, pass out one card to each student. Each game contains 24 cards. Depending on your class size, students may share a card or students may have more than one card.

The student who has the START card will read first. The student who has the answer to the problem will say, "I have ___, who has ___?" The game continues until you reach the END card.

My students love to set the timer and try to beat the previous time each time we play!

To play the Pick a Card games, students play with a partner or in a small group. Students need one activity sheet and a deck of cards. Place the deck of cards face down. One student holds the activity sheet while the partner turns over a card from the deck. The student holding the activity sheet reads the question that corresponds to the card. The answer is in parentheses on the card, so a separate answer key is not needed. If the student gets the answer correct, he or she keeps the card. If the question is missed, the card goes on the bottom of the deck. The winner is the student with the most cards at the end of the allotted time.
