Roll Six Rounding is a fun way to learn how to round numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.
How to Play:
The first student rolls one die. Whatever number is rolled, the student goes to the corresponding column and picks any number in that column to round. If the number is rounded correctly, the student puts a chip, marker, etc. on that space. Students continue to take turns rolling the die. The first student to get six chips in a row is the winner of the game! There are 3 different game boards for each level of rounding.
This is a very engaging and motivating game that can be played during group time, work stations, or free time.
