A partner game that is perfect for math stations or extra math practice. The game involves place value skills, and practices rounding to digits in the tens, hundreds, thousands, and ten thousands place.
Directions: Play with a partner. Each player needs a game board. Sit facing your partner so they can’t see your board. Player 1 rolls the dice, and both players record the number in one of the place value positions. Player 2 rolls, and both players record the number in an open place value position. Continue rolling until all place values are filled. One number rolled must be placed in the “reject” box. After all boxes are filled, round the number to the selected place value. The player with the largest number after rounding wins the round!
