This resource is great for an anchor chart or small poster in the classroom to remind students of the rounding rules. Also, it doubles as a toolbox resource for each student!
Engage Visual Learners:
Laminate this resource, so students can write on it with a dry erase marker. For instance, students can write the entire number below the title. Then, write the rounding place digit in the rollercoaster cart. When they circle the digit next door in the original number, they can circle that digit on the rollercoaster. Wherever that circle lies on the page, students will know whether to add zero or add one to the digit in the cart.
***Please note when you are printing double-sided, it is recommended you print using the option "flip on short edge." This will ensure it flips with ease.***
Please review! I would love to hear your thoughts, opinions, or how you use it in your classroom!
